A unique butoh performance at the historic Anzen hardware store by Oguri + Roxanne, with upright bass by Taiji Miyagawa; followed by a delicious bowl of clam ramen and finely curated drinks.
Sunday, May 24th 6-9PM
6 PM Pre-performance drinks (alcoholic + non-alcoholic) at Azay - sake brought from Japan by Koki and handmade cocktails by Josaen.
6:45PM Butoh performance at Anzen Hardware
7:30PM Clam Ramen by Alex Kanegawa at Azay + dessert
Tickets are required for food + unlimited drinks ($50 per person) and performance.

“曖昧” is an intentional third space to connect and share all that can be communicated beyond words. It is a japanese word we cherish that roughly translates to: can’t quite put your finger on it; subtlety, spaciousness, or abstract.
